Before you begin, make sure the USB drive you prepared has at least 8 GB storage space. Also, if it is not empty, backup files on USB flash drive in advance, or you’ll lose them. Then, follow the instructions below to create a Windows 11 installation USB:
- Plug your USB drive into a USB port on another working computer.
- Download the media creation tool from Microsoft. Click the Download Now button under the “Create Windows 11 Installation Media” section.
- Right-click on the MediaCreationToolW11.exe and select Run as administrator.
- On the License terms page, select Accept.
